BioI am an English major=I'm better than you (haha, no, not really.)
I love learning Japanese. I love my good Japanese friends.
Japan was pure awesome. Now I'm working my butt off to try to become a translator and move back asap.
I love making/eating Japanese food. I love just about any Japanese food except sashimi (raw fish) and tofu with no taste. I can't really pick a favorite..
Otherwise, I love reading, writing, drawing, and listening to music.
I'm a sucker for the J-pop band Arashi. My ichiban is Aiba Masaki. My niban is Sakurai Sho. Sanban Ninomiya Kazunari. Yonban Ohno Satoshi. Goban (sadly, because once he was my ichiban) Matsumoto Jun.
My favorite song by them is Sakura Sake (Cherryblossoms Blooming...it has nothing to do with the drink!)
I'm also into NewS. Ichiban is none other than Masuda Takahisa. I'm having a hard time deciding on a niban....
I just got into the hip-pop band, Lead, in Dec. of 2008. I went to see them in person and shake their hands on Aug. 5, 2009, and it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. I really like Akira based on looks and voice, and I used to have Keita for a niban, but ever since I went to see them live, I can't decide on a niban any more.
My favorite anime/mangas are Rurouni Kenshin and Naruto.
My fav characters are: Kaoru, Kenshin, Misao and Deidara, Sasori, Tobi, Kakashi, Shikamaru, Sakura(Shippuuden), Gaara, Temari (I'm a ShikaxTema fan).
My favorite dramas are HanaDan, Banbino, Yamada Taro Monogatari, Maou, Taiyou to Umi no Kyoshitsu, The Quiz Show.
I like both Japanese and American movies, some of which include: Howl's Moving Castle, Grave of the Fireflies, Tekkon Kinkreet, Pirates, Chronicles of Narnia, and Lord of the Rings.
I'm in a transitory stage where I'm trying to surround my life with Japanese things so that I can get better speaking/reading/writing/listening.
